As I recall, my life has been in the midst of the growth of Japanese animation. I have produced and expanding secondary use rights for such memorable works as “Touch”, “Rurou Ni Kenshin”, “Hunter x Hunter”, “Dragon Quest”, and “Crayon Shin-chan” and I have also been a party to the development of the Japanese animation industry, always challenging myself to create cutting-edge business models. Major projects include “Anime Topia”, which created a genre of voice-over radio programs, the creation of the production committee system that led to the production of many animation works, the creation of Animax, a CS channel specializing in animation, and the production of 2.5 Dimentions musicals, all of which were the first of their kind in Japan. In particular, 2.5D musicals, which began with “Saint Seiya” produced by SMAP in 1999 and “The Prince of Tennis” produced in 2003, have exploded in popularity and have now grown into a genre with a market worth more than 200 billion yen. The 2.5D musical was originally created as a result of thinking through how to bring an original work from Japan to the West, the home of musicals. And to make this happen, we needed a base for the production, a musical street where 2.5D musicals are always being performed, like Broadway in New York or the West End in London. It is, in a sense, a completely new Disneyland for adults that is unparalleled in the world, and at the very thought of it, I can hardly contain the excitement that is shaking through my entire body. Asia's first Musical Street is sure to bring wonder and excitement to the whole world. We believe that C+'s major mission is to create a new facility that will welcome people from all over the world with the best facilities and the best service.
