In December 1986, he came to Japan from Beijing, China as a foreign exchange student, and in November 1997, he completed the doctoral course in International Social Sciences at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo, and received his Ph.D.
■ In May 1987, he founded the Japan-China Youth Music Committee with the Mainichi Newspapers and became its vice president. In 1989, he was the producer of “The Magic Flute of the Monkey King” (musical), which was performed at the Beijing Capital Theater. In the same year, as the Japanese representative of the China Youth Culture and Arts Foundation, he performed Chinese acrobatic troupes (Dalian, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, etc.) more than 20 times in various places in Japan.
■ In 1994, as a producer of "Hime-Gami Concert", he performed at Beijing Baoli International Theatre.
■ In 2000, he established the Japan-China Business Investment Promotion Association, and as its representative director, focuses on economic exchange activities between Japan and China.
■ In 2003, the company invested in and developed the Qingdao Lingang Industrial Processing Zone. For the urban planning plan, he commissioned the group of Prof. Takeshi Sasada of Osaka University's Department of Urban Engineering to build the first environmentally-friendly industrial park in China. This initiative was introduced in a TV Tokyo special program by Eisuke Sakakibara on July 13, 2006. Besides, he participated in the planning and urban development of the entire west coast of Qingdao.
■ In 2005, the first China International Cartoon Exhibition was held in Shanghai at the request of the Japan Cartoon Association, the China Juvenile and Children Culture and Art Foundation, and the China Shanghai Video Film Factory. Several Japanese manga artists, including Vice President Michiko Satonaka, participated in the exhibition. In the same year, at the request of the headquarters of Dentsu Japan, he successfully cooperated with Dentsu and the Xi'an Motion Picture Production Center, and as a producer, produced and broadcast the 20-episode TV drama "Love on the Left, Emotion on the Right," in which Rena Tanaka played the lead role for the first time in her carreer.
■ From September 2008, he was in charge of the Japanese side of Ms. Peng Liyuan's Chinese opera “Mulan Shihan” for about a year, and realized its performance.
